Road Wideners
This heavy-duty, self-propelled Weiler road widener is capable of widening from one to 14 feet with a working depth from 12 inches above grade to 12 inches below grade.
An independent, variable-speed hydraulic dual-end drive system – complete with two high-torque direct-drive motors – powers the 30-inch wide conveyor belt of the Weiler W730B at speeds ranging from 0 to 800 fpm. Discharge speed is controlled from the conveyor speed lever on the operator's console, and discharge direction is controlled by a switch on the station.
The large-capacity receiving hopper has a 9’ 4” opening and hydraulically raises and lowers 14 inches allowing for easy loading on trucks and for extra ground clearance when moving off the job. Self-cleaning head, tail, and return pulleys minimize material buildup.

The Weiler W530A self-propelled road widener, with its 120hp engine, is capable of widening roads from one to 10 feet with a working depth ranging from 12 inches above grade to 12 inches below grade. This unit has many of the same features and components as its larger counterpart, the W730A, but it can easily be put into a transport configuration of 120” wide.
The large-capacity receiving hopper has a 9’ 4” opening with a hydraulic dump lip for cleanout after each truck load to help reduce hand work. The chain-driven belt provides a positive drive and keeps the belt straight in line. This heavy-duty, self-propelled road widener is designed to handle a variety of widening applications and materials.

The W330 was built for the smaller job applications. It offers you a working width up to 6 feet and depths from 8 inches above grade to 10 inches below grade. The W330 can easily transform to a legal shipping width of 8.5 feet by simply swinging and locking the tools to the side of the machine and folding up the hopper.
The W330 features a high-temperature-resistant belt coupled with a powerful drive to ensure top material handling. A variable-speed, hydraulic, end-drive system – with a high-torque, direct-drive motor – powers the 18-inch-wide conveyor belt at speeds ranging from 0 to 400 fpm.
Discharge speed is controlled by the conveyor speed lever, and a convenient foot pedal can be used to turn the belt on and off. The large-capacity receiving hopper has a 9’ 4” opening, with an optional hydraulic push beam that provides flexibility for multiple truck styles. The chain-driven belt provides a positive drive and keeps the belt tracking straight in line.
