Net power advertised is the power available at the flywheel when the engine is equipped with fan, air cleaner, Clean Emission Module (CEM) exhaust gas aftertreatment, alternator, and cooling fan running at intermediate speed. Rated speed 2,200 rpm. Advertised power is tested per the specified standard in effect at the time of manufacture.

¹Cat diesel engines are required to use ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel with 15 ppm of sulfur or less) and are compatible* with ULSD blended with the following lower-carbon intensity fuels** up to: 20% biodiesel FAME (fatty acid methyl ester)*** or 100% renewable diesel, HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) and GTL (gas-to-liquid) fuels. Refer to guidelines for successful application. Please consult your Cat dealer or “Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations” (SEBU6250) for details. *While Caterpillar engines are compatible with these alternative fuels, some regions may not allow their use. **Tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions from lower-carbon intensity fuels are essentially the same as traditional fuels. ***Engines with no aftertreatment devices are compatible with higher blends, up to 100% biodiesel (for use of blends higher than 20% biodiesel, consult your Cat dealer).

Operating weight includes full fuel tank, operator, bucket 700 kg (1,540 lb) and dual pneumatic tires. Weight varies depending on configuration. Typical configurations include 2.5 m (8'2") stick, bucket and 220 kg (485 lb) quick coupler.

Range values are with dual pneumatic tires (10.00-20). Range values are calculated with a GD bucket (CW) and CW quick coupler with a tip radius of 1484 mm (4'10"). Force values are calculated with heavy lift on, a GD bucket (pin-on) and a tip radius of 1378 mm (4'6").

The air conditioning system on this machine contains the fluorinated greenhouse gas refrigerant R134a or R1234yf. See the label or instruction manual for identification of the gas. If equipped with R134a (Global Warming Potential = 1430), the system contains 1.0 kg (2.2 lb) of refrigerant which has a CO2 equivalent of 1.430 metric tonnes (1.576 tons). If equipped with R1234yf (Global Warming Potential = 0.5), the system contains 0.8 kg (1.8 lb) of refrigerant which has a CO2 equivalent of 0.0004 metric tonnes (0.0004 tons).
