Whats NEW:
- LATE FEES: We no longer have a “LATE FEE” for customers who buy NEW ESC in the second year of their Standard Factory Warranty (SFW). Or third year, for those who qualify for 3 years of SFW.
- To make this easy for you, the programming in Quote Plus no longer charges your dealership the “LATE FEE” in a separate charge from the cost of purchasing the ESC.
- LATE FEES are still charged in cases where you do not get an ADVANTAGE ESC or OVERHAUL ESC registered in the time allowed to do so. Usually this is 30 days. This is a true late fee charge for not getting registrations done quick enough.
- Even a delayed coverage start scenario for ADVANTAGE ESC or OVERHAUL ESC must be registered within 30 days of the last day of labor involved in performing the ADVANTAGE ESC inspection or the OVERHAUL ESC overhaul.
- ADVANTAGE ESC INSPECTIONS: An ADVANTAGE ESC Inspection is no longer required when transitioning from NEW ESC to ADVANTAGE ESC – as long as:
- The serial number is less than 10 years from the build date, AND
- The NEW ESC coverage has not expired.
- This greatly affects the cost of buying ADVANTAGE ESC for:
- Commercial and Yachting Marine engines and gensets (Yachting engines signed up for 10 years of NEW ESC will not be eligible for ADVANTAGE ESC
- Pleasure Craft Customers - 10 years of New Engine Extended Service Coverage.

Labor Rate Guidelines - Must be updated annually by the dealer even if no increase is requested. The process must be submitted at least 30 days prior to expiration as it takes 30 days for approval.
