Learn and Earn: The Co-op Experience at Milton CAT
Interested in becoming a Caterpillar technician or parts person? The first step is to get quality education. Milton CAT supports the Mobile Equipment and Diesel Technology Program at New Hampshire Community Technical College in Berlin, NH. At this school, you will earn an Associates Degree and learn how to work on Caterpillar equipment using the latest technology and tooling. During summers, you will have the opportunity to Co-op at one of Milton CAT's ten full-service locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York or Massachusetts. This summer experience will provide you with a good paying job and will prepare you to become a member of Milton CAT's 500 person technical staff.
In your second year, you can choose to specialize in one of three career paths: Off-highway equipment, On-highway trucks or Parts and Service Management. Upon graduation, you will be ready to join the staff at the store you have been working as a technician or parts counter person.
